Beef Stew With Raisins Recipe
- 1 1/2 lb beef in 2" cubes
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 can tomatoes - (16 ounce)
- 2 c. carrots thinly sliced
- 1/4 c. dark molasses
- 1/4 c. sherry cooking wine (or possibly beef broth)
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 1 pkt noodles
- Place beef in crock pot.
- Combine flour and seasonings.
- Sprinkle over the beef.
- Combine tomatoes, carrots, molasses and wine.
- Pour over beef.
- Cover and simmer at LOW setting for 7 to 9 hrs.
- Add in raisins last 30 min, keep hot.
- During last 10 min, cook noodles according to package directions.
- Serve stew over noodles.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
