Alcapurrias (Beef stuffed fritters)
- 5 lb banana (green)
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 lb taro root (yautia)
- 1 tsp vinager
- 1 envelope sazon with achiote (annatto)
- 1 lots of vegetable oil for deep frying. a few sheets of wax paper for molding
- 2 lb chopped meat (i prefer pork)
- 1 tbsp sofrito
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 lb chopped meat ( i prefer pork) chopped up in small pieces
- 1/2 tsp salt & pepper
- 1 envelope sazon
- 8 green olives
- 1 clove garlic
- 6 oz cooked chopped ham
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp capers
- 1/4 vinegar
