Bacon & Caramelized-Onion Asparagus
- 3 slices OSCAR MAYER Center Cut Bacon
- 1-1/2 lb. fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 cup chopped onions Safeway 3 lb For $2.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Creamy Italian Dressing
- Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp.
- Remove bacon from skillet; drain on paper towels.
- Discard drippings from skillet; set skillet aside for later use.
- Place asparagus in microwaveable dish.
- Add water.
- Microwave on HIGH 4 to 5 min.
- or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
- Meanwhile, add onions to skillet; cook and stir 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Stir in dressing.
- Crumble bacon.
- Drain asparagus; place on plate.
- Top with dressing mixture and bacon.
