Toll House Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

• 1 1/2 c. flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 c. granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 Large eggs
• 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 c. shortening
• 3/4 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon water
• 2 c. oatmeal

1. Combine flour, soda, and salt; set aside.
2. Blend shortening, sugars, vanilla and water.
3. Beat in Large eggs.
4. Add in flour mix and mix well.
5. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
6. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
7. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 10-12 min.
