Kentucky Mint Julep

  1. Gently muddle mint leaves in glass of choice.
  2. Apparently a silver or pewter cup is traditional.
  3. Add bourbon then refrigerate for two hours to let infuse.
  4. When ready to serve add crushed ice, simple syrup and bitters.
  5. Stir and serve.
