Sauteed Okra with Cumin

• 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter
• 1 1/2 pounds okra, stems trimmed, washed
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin

1. Melt butter over high heat in a medium saute pan.
2. saute okra with all seasoning 2 to 3 minutes.
3. Reduce heat to moderate and cook, stirring occasionally, an additional 5 minutes.
4. Serve hot.
