Maryland Crab Meat Ball Recipe
- 1 pound crabmeat, preferably backfin
- 2 (8 ounce.) cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon dehydrated chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon Season-All salt
- 1 bottle seafood sauce (or possibly 1 sm. bottle ketchup with 2 tbsp. horseradish
- and 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice)
- Mix all spices with room temperature cream cheese.
- Remove shells from crabmeat, trying to avoid breaking up lumps.
- Combine cream cheese and crab and form into a ball.
- Refrigeratein refrigerator, covered.
- Just before serving, pour cocktail sauce over ball.
- Serve with favorite crackers.
