Bread Bowls Recipe

  1. Cut finely lettuce, watercress, chicory and romaine and arrange in salad bowl.
  2. Cut tomatoes in half, remove seeds, dice finely, and arrange over top of minced greens.
  3. Dice breasts of chicken and arrange over top of minced greens.
  4. Chop bacon finely and sprinkle over the salad.
  5. Cut avocado in small pcs and arrange around the edge of the salad.
  6. Decorate the salad by sprinkling over the top the minced Large eggs, minced chives, and grated cheese.
  7. Just before serving mix the salad thoroughly with French Dressing.
  8. Yield: 4 to 6
  9. Brown Derby Old-Fashioned French Dressing:
  10. Blend together all ingredients except oils.
  11. Then add in olive and salad oils and mix well again.
  12. Chill.
  13. Shake before serving.
  14. Makes about 1 1/2 qts.
  15. This dressing keeps well in the refrigerator.
  16. Can be made and stored.
