Toasted Summer Turkey Sandwich

  1. If you have a grilling pad on your stove this works perfectly for this recipe, otherwise you can pan grill the squash.
  2. Prep your grilling station by using Butter Flavored Pam, then sprinkle the surface with the pepper blend (use it all).
  3. Places your sliced squash in a single layers and grill each side for 5 minutes or until browned to your desired color.
  4. Remove from grill/pan then place your sliced bread onto your grill and lightly toast in the seasoned pan.
  5. With seasoned side down preceed to layer your toppings.
  6. First layer your turkey, then drizzle desired amount of dressing, place your sliced squash, then top with the provolone cheese, then the sliced tomato.
  7. This recipe is written to make two sandwiches, but a small yellow squash can be enough for several more sandwiches so if you would like to make more adjust the other ingredients accordingly.
  8. Enjoy!
  9. (P. S. this is my first time sharing a recipe, so if it seems I left out any steps, feel free to leave me a comment) =)
