Chocoalate Self Sauce Puddings
- 60 g butter
- 1 12 cups self-raising flour
- 13 cup caster sugar
- 14 cup cocoa
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 23 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 14 cup cocoa, extra
- 2 cups boiling water
- Place butter in a large microwave-proof dish and melt at 350W for 60 seconds.
- Stir in sifted flour, caster sugar, and cocoa.
- Add the milk and vanilla and beat with a wooden spoon until mix is smooth.
- Spoon mixture into individual microwave-proof containers.
- Combine extra sifted cocoa and brown sugar and sprinkle equal amounts onto each pudding.
- Carefully pour the boiling water slowly over the back of a large metal spoon and over the pudding mixtures.
- Cook for 6-10 minutes, until springy~soft and just cooked in the centre remove and stand for 3 minutes before serving.
- N.B.As every microwave is different and you need to consider your own microwaves power.
- It may take less or longer to cook these.
- It may be better to cook them on medium high.
- Your microwave may take longer so keep an eye on times.
- Sprinkle each pudding with icing sugar and serve with ice-cream or cream.
