Thee Best Stuffing
- 34 cup butter or 34 cup margarine
- 1 small onion, thinly diced
- 2 cups celery, sliced thinly
- 2 loaves bread
- 2 12 cups chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 tablespoons sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- slowly melt butter in a sauce pan and add the onion and celery.Cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes or until they turn soft NOT brown.
- meanwhile as that cooks -- cube your loaves of bread into 1/2 inch pieces and throw into a big bowl.
- when celery and onions are done,pour mixture into the bread cubes.mix all together.
- start adding 1 cup of chicken broth,mix well.
- Next add all your seasonings,mix and then add remaining chicken broth.
- mix all together and pour it into a greased casserole dish.
- Bake in the oven at 375 celcius for about 30-40 minutes.
