Date Nut Macaroons Recipe
- 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 14 ounce. pkg. (5 1/3 c.) coconut
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 14 ounce. can sweetened condensed lowfat milk (NOT evaporated)
- 1 c. minced dates
- 1 c. minced walnuts
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease cookie sheets.
- In large bowl, combine flour, coconut and salt; mix well.
- Stir in lowfat milk.
- Mix in dates and walnuts.
- Drop by Tbsp.
- onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 min or possibly till light golden.
- Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
