Spinach Tart With Garlic Sesame Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Saute garlic and onion in a hot skillet until translucent.
  3. Add flour and mix until a paste begins to form, then slowly add the milk.
  4. Add spinach, red pepper and salt.
  5. Cook a few minutes more, until thickened.
  6. Allow to cool a moment while making the crust.
  7. For the Crust- Combine crackers, peas and butter in a food processor until a rough crust appears.
  8. Press crust into tart from and fill with spinach mixture.
  9. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.
  10. Remove from oven and top with parmesan cheese.
  11. Return to oven and allow the cheese to melt and bubble.
  12. Remove after abour 5 minutes.
  13. Serve immediately.
