AMIEs POLPETTE (meatballs)

  1. Combine the egg, milk and breadcrumbs in a medium bowl and set aside to soak for 5 minutes.
  2. Then add the parmesan, oregano, parsley, onion and garlic.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the beef and mix thoroughly.
  5. Shape tablespoonfuls into firm meatballs and place onto a tray.
  6. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the meatballs in batches fir 3-4 minutes, turning until browned all over and cooked through.
  7. Serve with your choice of side dishes like my organic green salad, or make a tomatoe sauce and serve with pasta.
  8. Serves 4.
