Pretzels
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 eggs, beaten
- Honey Butter Mix, recipe follows
- Kosher salt, for sprinkling
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine the yeast and warm water.
- Add the flour, salt, sugar, honey, and eggs.
- Mix thoroughly for about 10 minutes.
- Let the dough rise about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4-ounce portions and shape into pretzels.
- Place on a greased cookie sheet and let rise for 1 hour.
- Brush with Honey Butter Mix and sprinkle with kosher salt.
- Bake for 20 minutes.

- In a small bowl combine melted butter and honey.
