Pear Clafoutis
- 1 tsp. butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar, divided
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash salt
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 large fresh pear, thinly sliced Safeway 1 lb For $1.88 thru 02/09
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Butter 9-inch pie plate; sprinkle with 1 Tbsp.
- sugar.
- Blend remaining sugar and all other remaining ingredients except pears in blender until well blended.
- Pour half into prepared pie plate.
- Arrange pears over batter in dish; cover with remaining batter.
- Bake 45 to 50 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Serve warm.
