Pear Clafoutis

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Butter 9-inch pie plate; sprinkle with 1 Tbsp.
  3. sugar.
  4. Blend remaining sugar and all other remaining ingredients except pears in blender until well blended.
  5. Pour half into prepared pie plate.
  6. Arrange pears over batter in dish; cover with remaining batter.
  7. Bake 45 to 50 min.
  8. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Serve warm.
