Pink Lady
- 1 white cake mix
- 3 tablespoons cake flour, sifted
- 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
- 12 cup water, and juice mixture
- 1 cup salad oil
- 4 large eggs
- 5 ounces frozen strawberries
- 1 (16 ounce) package powdered sugar
- 12 cup butter
- 5 ounces strawberries
- Thaw berries and lay eggs out to come to room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix flour, jello, and cake mix.
- Add water and 1 tablespoon of juice (from strawberries) to make 1/2 cup.
- Add water mixture, oil, eggs, and mix with a mixer at low speed.
- Add berries and mix evenly.
- Pour evenly into a cake pan.
- Cook 20 to 30 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- FROSTING:.
- Soften butter and add sugar.
- Mix well with berries and 1/2 the juice.
- Add juice by spoonful to desired consistency.
- Spread on top of cake.
