Cucumber Tea Sandwiches

  1. Cut the peeled cucumber into 20 slices 1/8 thick.
  2. Combine the oil, vinegar and pepper.
  3. Soak the cucumber slices in the oil mixture.
  4. Flatten the white bread a little with a rolling pin.
  5. Butter the slices of bread.
  6. Punch out 4 rounds per slice of bread with a round pastry cutter that is the size of the diameter of the cucumber.
  7. To assemble the sandwiches, take a slice of cucumber and let the excess oil drip off.
  8. Then sandwich between 2 rounds of the buttered bread.
