Black Sesame & Strawberry Pudding
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 stick (10 g) agar-agar, hydrated
- 1 cup black sesame powder
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, divided
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding
- 2 cups cold milk
- Bring water and sugar to boil in small saucepan; cook 1 min.
- or until sugar is dissolved, stirring frequently.
- Squeeze agar-agar to remove excess water; whisk into ingredients in saucepan.
- Return to boil; cook 1 to 2 min.
- or until agar-agar is dissolved, stirring constantly.
- Stir in sesame powder.
- Spoon into 8 dessert cups.
- Refrigerate 1 hour.
- Cut each of 2 strawberries into 4 slices each; set aside.
- Finely chop remaining berries; spoon over layers in dessert cups.
- Beat pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 min.
- ; spoon over chopped berries.
- Top with sliced berries.
- Refrigerate 5 min.
