Amaretto Fruit (Chef Harry) Recipe
- 4 c. strawberries trimmed and
- 2 c. raspberries rinsed
- 2 c. dry apricot halves cut into thirds
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. water
- 2/3 c. amaretto
- Place berries in a heavy saucepan over medium heat and pour sugar over berries.
- Pour water over sugar and lastly amaretto.
- Stir gently and allow to come to a slow boil.
- Stir again and bowl slowly for 12 min.
- Cold and place in heatproof bowl or possibly jar.
- Cover and chill.
