BBQ Beef Brisket

  1. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
  2. Add meat; cook 2 min.
  3. on each side or until browned on both sides.
  4. Place 1 brisket in each of six half-steam table pans (or in one half-steam table pan for trial recipe).
  5. Mix 1-1/2 qt.
  6. of the barbecue sauce (or 1 cup of the sauce for trial recipe), the chicken broth, onions and garlic.
  7. Pour evenly over meat in pans; cover with foil.
  8. Bake in 350 degrees F-convection oven 2 to 2-1/2 hours or until meat is very tender.
  9. Cool meat; drain.
  10. Shred meat; cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  11. Mix meat with remaining 2 qt.
  12. barbecue sauce (or with remaining 1-1/3 cups barbecue sauce for trial recipe) in large saucepan.
  13. Cook on medium-low heat until heated through, stirring occasionally.
