Steak Stir Fry
- 2 cup green pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 cup red pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 cup yellow pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 can bamboo chutes; drained
- 1/2 medium sweet onion; sliced into strips
- 1 bunch green onions; chopped
- 1 1/2 lb steak; cut into thin strips (sub prepackaged stew meat)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 3/4 cup stir-fry sauce
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp olive or sesame oil
- 1 can bean sprouts; drained
- Brown steak strips, oil, garlic, ginger, & pepper in large skillet or wok over medium heat until steak is just browned.
- Add the vegetables into the steak mixture, while gradually pouring the soy sauce over everything.
- While continuing to cook uncovered over meduim heat, gently stir all ingredients together until well combined.
- Cover and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over rice of your choice.
- This dish also goes well over quinoa for a healthier, and just as tasty option.
