Quick Stromboli Pockets
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 14 teaspoon margarine
- 14 teaspoon oregano
- 12 slices mozzarella cheese
- 12 ounces premade pizza dough (1 package)
- First, brown the ground beef and then add all of the other ingredients (except the mozzarella and dough).
- Cook on a low simmer for about 20 minutes or until the mixture is thick.
- Roll out the pizza dough and mound the ground beef on one side of the dough.
- Lay on the cheese.
- Fold the pizza dough over the ground beef, seal the ends, and bake about 30 minutes until the crust is nice and golden.
- To serve, simply slice into pieces and slide onto individual plates.
- You might want to garnish with a few black olives and some parsley.
