Mom's Open Face Apple Pie Recipe

  1. Peel and quarter apples; cut quarters in half.
  2. Add in sugar and water to apples; let come to a boil.
  3. Add in cornstarch and cook till clear.
  4. Pour into pie shell, sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter.
  5. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min; then at 350 degrees for 30 min.
