White Gravy with Sausage

  1. Prepare medium white sauce.
  2. In small saucepan melt the butter or margarine.
  3. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper, use a fork to blend the flour in.
  4. Add milk all at once, cook and stir over medium heat till thickened and bubbly.
  5. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes more.
  6. Cook 1 pound of sausage in a frying pan.
  7. Add to the white sauce and add a little more pepper to taste.
  8. Cook until heated through.
  9. Serve over biscuits or toast.
