Quickie Caramel Ice Cream

  1. Mix the custard with the caramel until well mixed.
  2. Stir in the chopped-up chocolate bars of your choice.
  3. Fold in the whipped cream.
  4. Freeze in a suitable container until firm.
  5. Yield: about 1 quart/4 cups/1 litre.
