All-In-One Breakfast Casserole
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. uncooked regular, quick or instant Cream of Wheat cereal
- 4 oz. Swiss cheese, grated (about 1 c.)
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen Brown 'N Serve sausage links, thawed and cut into bite size pieces
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. In medium saucepan over low heat, bring milk to the boiling point. Slowly sprinkle in Cream of Wheat cereal, stirring constantly. Return to boiling point; reduce heat.
- Stir until thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add 3/4 cup of cheese and mustard; stir until cheese melts.
- Beat in eggs until well blended; stir in the sausage.
- Spread into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
