Melty Ranch Meatloaf Burgers
- 1 pound 80% Lean Ground Beef
- 2 teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 1 dash Cayenne Pepper
- 1 whole Large Egg
- 1/2 packages (from A 4 Oz. Sleeve) Saltine Crackers, Crushed To Crumbs
- 1/2 whole Onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 whole Green Bell Pepper, Finely Chopped
- 1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1/2 cups Ketchup
- 4 ounces, weight Cheese (4 Slices); American, Cheddar, Pepper Jack, Etc.
- Heat a medium-size skillet on medium-high heat.
- In a medium-size bowl, mix all ingredients except cheese.
- Portion out four large burgers.
- Take each burger and divide it into two same-size patties.
- Place one slice of cheese between each set of two patties, fully sealing all the edges and making sure no cheese is visible.
- Place one burger in a skillet at a time.
- Cook covered 57 minutes per side or until juices run clear.
- Burger will puff slightly.
- These are also good grilled.
- Eat on buns, buttered rolls, white bread, or by itself!
