Caramelized Beer-and-Mustard Onions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-low heat.
  2. Add onions; cook 30 to 45 min.
  3. or until onions are caramelized, stirring occasionally and adding 1 to 2 Tbsp.
  4. water if necessary to prevent onions from sticking to bottom of skillet.
  5. Add mustard; cook and stir 1 min.
  6. Stir in beer; cook and stir on high heat 4 min.
  7. or until thickened.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Stir in Miracle Whip.
