Caramelized Beer-and-Mustard Onions
- 4 tsp. canola oil
- 5 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup beer
- 2 Tbsp. Miracle Whip Original Spread
- Heat oil in large skillet on medium-low heat.
- Add onions; cook 30 to 45 min.
- or until onions are caramelized, stirring occasionally and adding 1 to 2 Tbsp.
- water if necessary to prevent onions from sticking to bottom of skillet.
- Add mustard; cook and stir 1 min.
- Stir in beer; cook and stir on high heat 4 min.
- or until thickened.
- Cool completely.
- Stir in Miracle Whip.
