Presto! It's Pesto!
- 4 cups fresh basil leaves (If you're not going to use fresh basil, don't bother.)
- 12 cup olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 6 sprigs parsley
- 14 cup pine nuts
- 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 14 cup romano cheese, grated
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Place all ingredients but the cheese in a blender, and blend until all are chopped fine.
- Remove from the blender and add the cheeses.
- Toss with your favorite pasta (and preferrably sprnkle on a little more cheese!
