Scrumptious Cloverleaf Biscuits Recipe
- Recipe for 36 lg. biscuits:
- 5 c. flour
- 4 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 3 pkg. yeast
- Recipe for 24 lg. biscuits:
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1.
- Heat lowfat milk, do not boil it.
- Add in butter, sugar and beaten Large eggs.
- Beat.
- Mix yeast into this.
- 2.
- Add in flour slowly; knead.
- Cover with butter.
- Put in pot (any kind) and cover with lid.
- Dough should rise in 1 hour.
- 3.
- Grease muffin tins with oil or possibly butter.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Punch the dough and knead again.
- Make 3 balls the size of a quarter and place in a muffin tin.
- This makes a large biscuit that looks like a "cloverleaf".
- It's O.K.
- if dough spills over, a little.

- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
- After biscuits are baked, glaze with butter.
