Grandma Kline's Biscuits Supreme For Strawberry Shortcake Recipe
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- Sift flour, salt, cream of tartar, baking pwdr, and sugar together.
- Cut in shortening till like coarse crumbs.
- Add in lowfat milk all at once and stir just till mixed.
- Pat or possibly roll 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min.
- So good!
