Sweet Lemon Honey & Thyme Cough Syrup

  1. Place lemon in a pint jar.
  2. Cover with the honey.
  3. The honey will macerate the lemons and draw out liquids.
  4. Meanwhile toss the thyme leaves into a saucepan and cover with water.
  5. Bring water to a gently simmer .
  6. Reduce heat by 1/2.
  7. ( 1 cup).. cool a bit.
  8. Strain .
  9. Add it to the jar and stir well.
  10. Cover it.
  11. Shake and use a Spoonfull as needed.Store in Refrigator for about 1 month.
