Daiquiri No. 2
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 ounces clear rum
- 1 teaspoon orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Curacao liqueur
- 1 small lime wedge or wheel, for garnish
- Place all ingredients except lime in a blender with 1/2 cup ice, preferably in small cubes.
- Blend about 5 seconds.
- Pour into a chilled cocktail glass, straining out ice with blenders lid (or for a particularly refined daiquiri, a sieve).
- Balance lime wedge or wheel on glasss rim.
