Reese's Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
  2. Stir together flour and baking soda.
  3. In a large mixer bowl, beat shortening, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.
  4. Add eggs; beat well.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well.
  6. Stir in chips.
  7. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Let cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
  10. Let cool completely.
