Fluffy Tea-Flavored Cupcakes
- 1 bag Black tea
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 70 grams Cake flour
- 1 grams Baking powder
- 40 grams Margarine
- 40 grams Sugar
- 1 Egg
- Take the tea leaves out of the sachet and put them in a heat-resistant bowl.
- Add milk, and microwave for 15-20 seconds at 500W, then stir.
- Bring the margarine to room temperature in advance.
- Sift the ingredients together.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
- Put the margarine in a separate bowl and whip until creamy.
- Add the sugar and mix well.
- Add the beaten egg and mix until smooth.
- Add the tea leaves from Step 1 and mix.
- Add the sifted ingredients, and mix until the mixture is no longer floury.
- Spoon the batter into baking cups.
- Fill each cup up to 70-80%.
- (The batter should be runny enough to pour into the cups.)
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170C for 20 minutes.
- Poke with a bamboo skewer to check, and they're done if it comes out clean!
