Cheese Stix
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 3/4 cups Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Cold Water
- 6 Tablespoons Grated Sharp Cheddar
- 4 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons Basil (optional)
- Cream butter until light and fluffy; stir in flour.
- Add water and cheddar cheese until it combines into a soft dough.
- Cover a baking sheet with waxed or parchament paper.
- Using a cookie press or piping bag, press dough into 2-inch sticks.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and basil and garlic salt, if desired.
- Bake at 350F for 15 minutes until crispy and brown.
- Let cool slightly before CAREFULLY removing sticks.
- Makes approximately 40 sticks.
