Tuscany Slow Cooked Country Pork Ribs

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil.
  2. Sear ribs in batches then place inside slow cooker.
  3. Add onions and bell pepper slices to the skillet, saute a few minutes, and add them to the slow cooker.
  4. Add black pepper, stock, bay leaves, tomato paste, and marinara sauce.
  5. Gently stir to mix ingredients.
  6. Place lid on slow cooker, set to medium heat and cook 4 hours.
  7. These ribs will be extra tender, juicy and flavorful.
  8. Add Parmesan cheese, if desired, when serving.
  9. (Remember to remove bay leaves before serving).
  10. Serving suggestions: Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes and be sure to have some crusty bread slices to soak up these juices!
