Italian Marsala Bread
- 23 cup dry marsala
- 1 cup golden raisin
- 1 cup milk
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 14 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 13 cups cornmeal
- 2 23 cups bread flour
- 2 12 teaspoons yeast
- Soak the raisins in the Marsala for at least 30 minutes.
- When the raisins have absorbed a good portion of the liquid, add whatever Marsala is left to the bread pan.
- Reserve the raisins for later.
- Place the rest of the ingredients in the pan and bake according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Add raisins during the add in cycle or 5 minutes before the final kneading is finished.
