Italian Macaroni and Cheese
- 1 lb oreccchiietta pasta
- 5 oz dry salami diced about 1 cup
- 1/2 cup chopped oil packed sun dried tomatoes
- 1/2 cup garlic peppers diced
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded fontina cheese
- 1 cup shredded pictante provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded basil
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
- boil noodles
- sautee salami till crisp
- add sundried tomatoes, garlic and peppers and onions'
- cook til tender, 5 min., add butter stir til tender.add flour and stir well, add milk stir continuously.
- Bring to a boli, continue to stir.Turn off heat, stir in cheeses, add basil.Season with salt and pepper.
