Marinated Flank Steak Ii Recipe
- 1 med. flank steak
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/3 c. salad oil
- 3 tbsp. wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp. chutney
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 tbsp. chopped onion
- Mix above ingredients and pour over flank steak.
- Cover, chill and let stand overnight.
- Turn steak over in the morning and allow other side to marinate all day.
- Steak can be broiled each side approximately 4 min or possibly till desired doneness.
- This is especially good on the grill, cooking 10 to 15 min each side on medium heat.
- Slice thin, diagonally.
- Serves 4.
- For a more oriental flavoring, add in 1/4 c. orange or possibly pineapple juice to above ingredients along with 1 Tbsp.
- brown sugar.
- This variation is especially good for chicken or possibly pork chops.
- Broil or possibly grill till thoroughly cooked through, basting with marinate as meat cooks.
