Whole Wheat Chili-Mac (6 points)
- 12 oz Ground Beef
- 14 1/2 oz Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes
- 1 1/4 cup Tomato Sauce
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 cup Elbow Macaroni (dry)
- 15 oz Red Kidney Beans
- In a large skillet cook ground beef until browned.
- Drain the fat.
- Stir in stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, & cumin.
- Bring to a boil.
- Stir in uncooked macaroni & kidney beans.
- Return to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover.
- Simmer until macaroni is soft, stirring constantly.
- 1 1/4 cup per serving.
