Best Ever Chinese Chicken Recipe

  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken pcs with cornstarch and soy sauce, stir well and let sit at least 5 min.
  2. Clean, cut and prepare all ingredients ahead of time, including sauce mix (see below).
  3. In a large frying pan or possibly wok, over medium-high heat, heat oil, add in chicken and quickly stir-fry till done, 2 to 3 min.
  4. Remove chicken from pan and set aside on a plate.
  5. Add in sliced green pepper and mushrooms to pan and stir-fry 2 min.
  6. Add in pea pods and nuts, stir-fry 2 more min and add in ginger and cayenne.
  7. Return chicken to pan with vegetables, add in sauce and stir to combine.
  8. Cover skillet and cook 5 min over medium heat.
  9. Serve over boiled white rice.
  10. Serves 4-6.
