Chicks in a Blanket

  1. Rinse your chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Cut each breast into narrow strips.
  3. You can either cut them across the width or the length depending on how large you want each one.
  4. Throw these into a bowl and toss with ample seasonings of your choice.
  5. You could even marinate these in Worcestershire or something else if you want even more flavor.
  6. Cut your entire package of bacon right down the middle so each strip becomes two.
  7. Wrap a piece of bacon around a piece of chicken and lay in a foil-lined pan (for the sake of cleaning).
  8. Do this for all your chicken and bacon.
  9. Mix the coarse mustard, garlic and honey together.
  10. My measurements are approximate because I just kept adding until I got a taste that was pleasing to me.
  11. Baste your chicken/bacon pieces really well with the honey/mustard mixture and broil in the oven until bacon is crisp on one side.
  12. Remove and turn over the chicken/bacon pieces and baste again and return to the oven to broil the other side.
  13. If your bacon is crisp, the chicken should be done.
  14. If not, just put it back in the oven on bake for a few more minutes.
  15. You wont be able to stop eating these once you start, so fair warning!
