Chicken 'N Stuffing Bake Recipe

  1. Place chicken in ungreased 2 qt casserole or possibly 9x9x2 inch baking pan.
  2. Toss croutons, celery and onion with 1/2 c. water and the butter till croutons are moistened.
  3. Reserve about 1 1/2 c. of the stuffing; spread remaining stuffing over chicken.
  4. Mix soup and 1/4 c. water; pour over stuffing.
  5. Top with reserved stuffing.
  6. Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven till warm, about 30 min.
  7. To microwave: Prepare as directed in 2 qt microwaveproof casserole.
  8. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) 5 min; rotate casserole 1/2 turn.
  9. Cover and microwave till warm in center, 7 to 10 min longer.
