Steamed Okra

  1. Rinse the okra thoroughly in cold water.
  2. Place into steaming basket over 1 to 2 inches of boiling water.
  3. Cover and cook until tender, but crisp, about 5 minutes.
  4. Toss with butter and salt.
  5. Serve warm.
