Old Glory Coleslaw
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 14 cup lemon juice
- 4 cups mayonnaise
- 14 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons horseradish
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 12 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 14 cup cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 heads green cabbage (shredded or diced)
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 12 red onion, sliced into half moons
- in a 6- to 8-cup glass pitcher or mixing bowl, combine buttermilk, lemon juice, mayonnaise, mustards, horseradish, celery seed, vinegar, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning and salt.
- Blend well; set aside.
- In second large bowl, combine cabbage, carrot and red onion.
- Add dressing to taste and mix together.
