Golumpki (Stuffed Cabbage) Recipe

  1. Peel the cabbage layer by layer.
  2. In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the cabbage leaves a few at a time until they are pliable.
  3. About 30 seconds.
  4. Combine A-1, hamburger, egg, onion, Worcestershire, rice and seasoning to taste in a bowl.
  5. Take small handful of mix and roll inside a cabbage leaf.
  6. After all mix is rolled into cabbage leaves; place in shallow baking pan.
  7. Over the top, pour 1 can of tomato soup and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup.
  8. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for approximately 1-1 1/2 hrs.
  9. Note: Cabbage rolls may be made up and frozen ahead of time.
