Oh So Easy Pot Roast
- 1 can (10.75 Oz. Can) Cream Of Mushroom Soup, Undiluted
- 1 package (about 1 Oz. Package) Dry Onion Soup Mix
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- 3 pounds Boneless Chuck Roast
- 1 pound Carrots, Peeled And Quartered
- 2 pounds Yellow Potatoes, Scrubed And Quartered
- 1 whole Sweet Onion, Quartered
- In a small bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, the dry onion soup mix and the black pepper.
- Set aside.
- In a large Dutch oven with a tight fitting lid, pour half the soup mixture in the bottom.
- Place the chuck roast over that.
- Place all the vegetables around.
- Pour the remaining soup mix over the top of all the meat and vegetables.
- Cover and bake in a slow oven, 325F for 3 hours.
- No peeking!
