Polish Chop Suey - Sauerkraut Casserole

  1. In a large skillet, brown meat.
  2. Add the onions and celery; cook until onions are transparent.
  3. Stir in sauerkraut, noodles, soup and mushrooms.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon into a greased 2 quarts (1900 ml) casserole dish.
  6. Cover and bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) 1 1/2 hours until the meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
